Almost a monochrome - very different and I like it. The submerged leaves blend and provide a somewhat morbid counterpoint to the near pure white 'purity' of the subject. Beautifully seen.

@Stephen Phillips: hahaha, thanks Stephen. The submerged leaves actually weren't us clear until after I got it developed (post-production) but them came out so well, I liked the shot more after I got home. I appreciate your comments.
Great compo, sepia hint adds somehow a dramatic atmosphere. Well done.

beautiful capture! love the detail, tones, composition. it looks like someone sprinkled fairy dust around it or something :)

@danthro: Thanks, Danthro - it was actually the time of year that those fairy dust particles were there. I was heading down the trail and was late to an assembly of sorts, but this caught my eye.
Can't tell you more than all the others already did - a beautiful capture!
